210 m borehole supplying 64 households, equipped with a 5 HP submersible pump and a 10,000 L tank on a 9 m steel tower.
The estate had relied on water bowsers for three years. Our hydrogeological survey identified a fractured basalt aquifer at 180–205 m. Air-rotary drilling took four days, with 6" uPVC casing and screens set against the productive zone and a graded gravel pack.
A 24-hour constant-discharge test confirmed a sustainable yield of 9.5 m³/hr. We equipped the borehole with a 5 HP three-phase pump, a DOL panel with dry-run protection, a 10,000 L tank on a 9 m tower and distribution plumbing to the estate mains. Water analysis met KEBS drinking water standards.
